PRINT MAKING WORKSHOP About the Workshop: Printmaking is the process of making artworks by printing, normally on paper. Print making normally covers only the process of creating prints that have an element of originality, rather than just being a photographic reproduction of a painting. Prints are created from a single original surface, known technically as a plate. The Artwork done in this workshop will be by carving on a foam sheet with tools and then applying ink with a roller. You will also be doing 2 color prints by carving further and understanding the tricky yet mesmerizing procedure of Print Making.
Material provided will be: Sketching Paper and Pencils Carving surface – 10″x10″ Styrofoam Carving tools Ink & Roller Papers for final prints Baren Glass base Kerosene and Linseed Oil Masking
Tape age: 16 years and above
Fee: Rs. 1500 per participant (including all material)
When: Saturday, 24th of March’18 from 3pm to 6pm
